Tough Mudder (London South) 2018

This autumn, a team of 4 of us (Tony Anthony, Neil Obbard, Eric Reverence and Sidney Shepherd) will be taking part in the Tough Mudder (London South) on Saturday, 22nd September 2018 to support the work of the GREAT COMMISSION SOCIETY in Secondary Schools and Sixth Form Colleges across the country.

This vital work provides educational support, help, advice, and free literature to support students in the UK struggling with bullying, abuse, Emotional/Mental Health, Identity, Self-worth, Self-esteem, Relationships, Values and Faith. Any amount you can offer will be hugely appreciated and put to optimum use. Your donation will go straight to the frontline to support young people.
Each person taking part in this campaign has first-hand experience of these same issues. As a result of this, some of our team members had quite a checkered past but were able to make a positive change and lived to tell the tale and have written biographical books as a way of offering help, advice and hope to young people today.
We use a wide range of subjects to present a life changing message, through subjects such as PSHE / Citizenship; English Language / Literature; and Philosophy / Religious Studies. We try to keep our lectures fun and clear, teaching students about values and encouraging respect for different national, religious and ethnic identities. Using real life stories is a wonderful way to connect with students, giving them the chance to identify with situations they may be going through themselves.
We want to take part in the Tough Mudder (London South) to honour the extraordinary bravery shown by so many young people today who are suffering in silence in the face of cruelty, and to provide as much support as possible to help them overcome those struggles.

Please visit our Just Giving page to support the campaign!

Please dig deep and donate now. We can make a difference.

None of this work would be possible without you. Your prayers, your support, and your encouragement keep us going.  Thank you for all you do to mobilise us. God bless you and keep on keeping on…
